AGM Report
Around 35 people attended our AGM on 1st November. including 4 observers from the Renewal Trust and the Council. In addition to the Chair’s report, the Accounts were approved and 5 new committee members were elected: Ken Bamford, Andrea Heinline, Sam Johnson, Jason Savage and Rosemary Stone.
It was clear from comments raised during the Chair’s report that the main issues concerning gardeners were site maintenance, water supply, rents and tenancy transferability. The Chair noted that the Renewal Trust and the Council are discussing options about how to improve the water supply on the site, although financing this will be a problem. He also informed the meeting of the consultation process for potential rent increases and proposed cultivation policy. – See the newsletter fro more information.
The AGM minutes will be made available on the STAA website in due course .
