St Anns Allotments Restoration Project

In Spring 2008 the Heritage Lottery Fund gave their official approval for the delivery of the St Anns Allotments Restoration Project. The funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund has been matched by funds from EMDA, ERDF, Nottingham City Council and funds brought in by STAA. The Renewal Trust are the main fund holder for the St Anns Allotments.

Groundwork Greater Nottingham are the main contractor for the capital works element of the project with much of the delivery of this being sub-contracted to CRESTRA.

Alongside the Capital works STAA are now contracted to deliver the objectives and outputs in the Management and Maintenance Plan. As part of this STAA has a Service Level Agreement with Hungerhill Developments Ltd (part of the Renewal Trust).

STAA is now acting as the Agent of the Landlord for the St Anns Allotments. The Landlord is now Hungerhill Developments Ltd who hold a 30 year lease for the site. STAA will continue with its work of overseeing the tenancy issues, but with additional targets as described in the Management and Maintenance Plan.

STAA is continuing to seek funding to continue with the Orchard Education project. It is also seeking funding to provide more gardener support on site as well as to support regeneration and community development in the local area.
