Tree Planting on Saturday 17th November
November 14, 2012 at 12:26 pm 7 comments
Last weekend 170 trees were planted by a team of 8 volunteers in our wildlife area. We’ll be using part of it as a hazel coppice.
Tree planting is loads of fun, and we’ll be about this Saturday 17th November from 10am – 2pm if you’d like to join us! Everyone is welcome.
We’ll provide hot drinks, but please bring lunch. Take care to wear solid footwear, warm clothes and gloves if you have them.
We’ll be meeting at the Ransom Road entrance at 10am.
For more information, call the office on 0115 911 0207
We look forward to seeing you there!

I am from Virginia and have no idea where you are, but I am encouraged to see you making this effort. With all the news coming from the Superstorm Sandy area about how many thousands of trees were destroyed I feel like there needs to be some balance from somewhere. Great job!

Sorry, we’re not sure. We do keep checking the website, but not sure if it’ll be online.
